He retired from acting in 1990, and his last movie was (The Two Sisters) .. Then, in 2003, he returned to art, presenting his most important and most successful television work, which is the series (Imam al-Dawa), in which he embodied the biography of the late Imam Sheikh Muhammad Metwally Al-Shaarawy. After that, he was satisfied with participating in soap operas and television dramas, most of which are religious, but he recently stated that he welcomes any role other than religious works, as long as it is within the framework of clean, purposeful art.
